~Pro Pics~

I'm really excited about these. 1. because Shelly my photog who did all of my photos from maternity all the way through too my Wedding was shooting these and 2. because this will finish out his baby album that she will be making for us- including his,newborn, three month and now 1 year pics. I'm really excited!! Shelly does such an amazing job and she is soo fun and easy to work with.
HA- I should shoot myself in the foot for even braving this heat- but when you live in Az you do whatcha ya gotta do!! So John, Me and T woke up early Sat. Morning and of course it was pretty much the hottest day of the year!! 115 to be exact! Well we were hoping for some relief in the morning shoot- but psh- there isn't such a thing as relief! 95 degrees is not relief..
anyway - we met up with Shelly at a park and it was actually a pretty cool park - it had a HUGE awning over it and it was totally shaded, instead of the rubberized or sand for the playground it was wood chips which were cool! Tristan of course LOVED it!! He wanted to taste them.

So we let him go and have fun, I brought his wagon and trucks to play with and Shelly got some really great shots!!

I also decided I wanted to get T his own personal cake and go to town with it at the end of our shoot.. so I went to Safeway figuring there cake could, just "maybe" be way better than Fry's cake.. OH MY lord when I saw the cake they had made I was like " I am not paying for that", the girl looked at me like I insulted her and shit I probably did! it was horrible - nothing like what I had pictured in my head or even close to what I had requested. The icing was melting off - the puffed balloons or what ever they were fell off - the lady said well I can fix it- Hahah okay fix it but I'm not paying for that.. So I paid 3 bucks for an 8 dollar 4in cake..!! I was so peeved by this time- that by the time I got home it looked like a freakin train wreck! Seriously my nephew could have did a better job!! I was so mad, upset and pissed that I went out and got cake mix and decided to brave the cake making my self!! Mine wasn't horrible, but it was a HECK of alot better than Safeway's master piece!!
so that's the story behind the cake - Tristan still enjoyed it until his daddy thought it would be cool to hurry the process up and smush some of it in his face.. Tristan was not HAPPY!! hahah
So the Photo shoot went really well - I don't think I've sweat so much in my life and I had a pool of boob sweat- it was pretty attractive!!

**Trash the Dress**

Yes you read that right!! I went and trashed my dress (wedding) this past weekend with a few other girls I know.

WHY on EARTH would you go and trash your dress, you ask? Well, WHY NOT??

You only get to wear it once and for maybe 8-10 hours and during that time you barely remember even wearing it.

I knew I had wanted to do this when I first got engaged and started searching the web for anything wedding related.. Yep crazy bride on the loose at that time..
When I came upon some sites and photographer sites that had done this, I thought this was so cool and something I could totally see myself doing. Now, I didn't exactly "trash" my dress - I just got it a little dirty but, their are some women out there who actually destroy there dresses and get crazy dirty with food, water, paint.. I just couldn't pull myself to do that. So we kept it pretty simple. Urban, chic, modern, FUN!!
So Sat morning I woke up early to get my Make up done yet again by my favorite make up artist who did my Wedding Make up and Bachorlette party make up - Amber from Glamberous Make up.. After that was done I headed down to the Arizona Science Center and met up with some of the other girls to get our party started.. We got dressed in the parking garage and I'm sure we got ALOT of looks and stares - Well I'm not just sure - I know we did.. hahah
My Photographer who shot my wedding pics - came out to do these for us. I knew she would do an amazing job and of course the pics I have seen so far are nothing short of amazing!!

It was such a beautiful day and I (we) had so much fun doing these.

~~I'm MARRIED~~

WOOOHOOO~~ I'm so excited to say that I am now a Trevino!!
My (our) Wedding was Amazing, awesome, unforgettable, timeless and so worth all the stress I went through to get to March 21, 2009. My day started out pretty good - got a little behind, no biggie- until the freeway was shut down and had to figure out a detour - on our detour my sis got a call saying two of my girls and my flower girl were sick and throwing up. WONDERFUL!! They were still on there way but also running late..
My Mom was running late because our hair appt's ran into her appt - so needless to say it was a mess but I took it for what it was and went with it. Got to the hotel - checked in - met up with amber to get my make up done, the girls arrived and the rush began!! Eeekk. We were supposed to be at Villa Siena t 2:30 so we could get in our dresses and start pics at 3 ish.. ummm Ya didn't happen, Melayna's dress was wrong.. Well, not her dress but the sash color was WAY off but I just said its all good - go with it..
finally everyone was ready - we booked it to Villa Siena.. Unloaded and got in our bridal suite.. Girls started dressing and thats when the stress began for me..
I was finally able to get into my dress and I felt like a rock star.. We started taking pics.. and as I was standing in the hall waiting - OUT walks John in such a rush that he stopped and said OH SHIT -- YES he saw me before he was supposed to!! UGH!! Kinda pissed me off but nothing to get to upset over.. :0)
took some pics with the girls, and my mom and some by myself. Then it was time to refresh and go see John for (the 1st time) ah hem 2nd time.. hahah They set him up out side in the courtyard back towards me and I was able to go up and tap him on the back.. It was a great moment to see each other after not being able to all morning and just knowing I was marrying this man in front of me, made my smile shine!! John looked HAWT!!! all the boys looked hot but John looked so handsome. We were able to get some of our photos out of the way and then got the rest of the crew and took some pics to get them out of the way.. We got some great family pics as well.. Time to sign our license and get that sucker out of the way.. Signed sealed and delivered!! DONE!!
Then off to our bridal suite to get touched up, take a breather and get ready to walk down that aisle.. The girls left me and I was by myself and it got very quit and I started shedding a few tears.. at that moment I wished my Dad was there, at that moment I missed him much more than I think I have in a REALLY long time.. I pulled myself together and it was TIME!!
I walked into the cocktail room to wait my turn.. My stomach was turnin with butterflies..
As I heard the music start I peeked my head around and watched my Jr. BM go - then my 1st Bm and I lost it.. Shit shit shit I said,, I pulled myself together and peeked again.. started to lose it and pulled myself away.. the music stopped and suddenly it was my turn.. Kim said you ready.. umm YEP!! My song started.. and NOPE no longer ready.. I lost it.. Tears and everything.. My Flower girl went and it was my turn - got myself out there to walk and needed to breathe, kinda like when I was having Tristan.. haha
YA Lamaze breathing is what I had to do!!
Began my walk and was still trying to keep it together.. i saw my Lil nephew and my Lil Tristan being pulled in the wagon and it brought a smile to my face. My Brothers met me on either side of the fountain and My brother Jason said, "you ready",.. I took a breathe and said Yep..
I stared at John the entire time I walked up.. WOW that was the hardest thing I had ever done.. Trying to keep it together, breathe and smile all at the same time is HARD!!
Our Ceremony lasted about 30 minutes and it was beautiful - at least from what I can remember.. After I got into my dress everything after that point pretty much is a blur to me unless I see pics and then I can remember..
After the ceremony - We had some pics to take with family etc.. We got drinks and we got to see our ballroom for the first time!! AMAZING!!! It was BEAUTIFUL! Words could not describe how I felt at that moment.. it was just a dream.. and it was coming true!! everything came together so nicely. My centerpieces, the candy buffet the tables, just everything.. :0)

time for our grand entrance - our bridal party entered to Rock Star by the Shop boys!! Great song.. and John and I entered to Swagga like us by T.I..
We decided to do dinner first then, toasts then our 1st dance.
Our food was awesome, nothing but compliments, My sister and Justin (John's BM) gave their toasts. and it was time for our first dance..
John and I took dance lessons for this - and then John choreographed it to match our song which is Me and You by Kenny Chesney.. He did an awesome job!!
We got out on the dance floor and to fool everyone we just swayed back and forth for about 30 secs until our cue went off and bam we hit the floor with our Moves!! Everyone started yelling and shouting and cheering us on. I think we shocked everyone - It was a great moment and Me and john just laughed.. I felt like a princess gliding on the floor and taking our turns and spins was awesome. I messed up one step because I kept worrying about me stepping on my dress and falling.. Other than that - We rocked our 1st dance!!
After our dance everyone came up to us- and kept saying No way, I can't believe you got John to take dance lessons.. HA little did they know he really knows how to dance and he did the moves for our dance.. heehee..
All in all - we had an amazing night.. We danced and sang, plenty of drinking, and plenty of memories to cherish.. I had the time of my life and I am so glad that we didn't give up and say lets go to Vegas, like I had wanted to so so so many times. After 2 1/2 yrs of planning ~ I definitely got the best wedding a girl could of asked for. I have so many to thank for it and it wouldn't of happened if it wasn't for certain people in my life and for that I am grateful!!

~Last Weekend I'm a Hahn~

WEIRD!!! This will be my last and final weekend/ week that I am a Hahn because next Sat at 5:30 ish I will become a Trevino!! YIKES!! I can't believe its here. Its coming fast and there is NO stopping it..

I'm definitely stressed- and I will admit I've been pretty snippy with John. (well a Bitch is more like it) but when things start to feel out of my control I get anxious and nervous and very overwhelmed. I need to relax and I tell my self this I'm sure like 50 million times a day but mmm I can't. Still overwhelmed, anxious, moody.. eeek..

I am excited to say the least.. This weekend - I'm going to get all the final things done - I have to go over to my Mom's house to help clean up her back yard for all the family coming in and also for the Rehearsal Dinner on Thursday. So that should be exciting (not) I hate doing yard work - especially my Mom's because her yard is huge!! Bleh..

John is going to a car show in Cali - So Me and T will be on our own.. I think I might go get his pictures done and a "haircut" if I have some time. I can cut his hair here but I want it to look good for the Wedding so I'm really thinking about just taking him, I will post pics.. should be interesting.. Heehee.. :0)

The Countdown Begins!!

20 days until I am a married woman!! Whew.... finally!!
It seems so surreal that I'm actually going to be getting married on March 21 and I have 20 days left and everything about this wedding is real!! I'm excited, I'm nervous, I'm scared.. i just want everything to go off with out a hitch and I understand there is always 1 thing that could and probably will go wrong but I would rather not think that and hope and pray that everything goes accordingly!!
I went for my first fitting on Sat. I was sooo scared my dress was not going to fit- with the first attempts to get into in December were very discouraging. I have been busting a move at the gym and eating healthy and have lost a total of 66 1/2 lbs and that is counting from when I was 38 weeks prego..
When I went for my dress I was 5 months pregnant -so imagine them telling me I needed to be like 4 sizes bigger than what I normally am and then fighting with them to drop the size down and then of course my disappointment when I was unable to get into my dress in December..
Sat was a relief.. i was so thrilled that she zipped me right up and had no problems, I will admit though it is tight in my chest area along with my back,I have always had a bigger back (bigger frame to be exact) thanks dad. So I have some back fat going on.. I have 2 weeks to work on that and hope that some of it will disappear. if not, at this point I really don;t care. If people are more concerned in noticing my back fat than enjoying my wedding I will probably kick there ass.. hahah
anyway - Things are definitely coming along, I had my bridal shower which went so well and I couldn't of asked for it to be better!! My sister truly does know how to throw parties and we all had an amazing time!! My bachelorette party is this Sat.. I can't wait.. and then that will leave me with 2 weeks to go before the BIG DAY!! Its going to be super crazy, super fun and I'm excited to see all my family and FINALLY walk down that aisle to the man I love and couldn't possibly live with out!!

Not even 2 weeks..

Not even 2 weeks since T has been going to Daycare and he's SICK!!! I knew it was going to happen but geez 2 weeks!! UGH!! 6 1/2 months- never been sick.. The occasional teething with the runny nose and fussiness no biggie!! Well, today is the day that he is officially 100% sick. I hope he makes a quick and fast comeback. I don't like seeing T like that. Right now is the time that I wished I could be a stay at home Mom.
Recently, Tristan has learned how to fake cough, and John and I get a kick out if it and laugh at him. He thinks its funny too. Well, not so funny this morning when his coughs were real coughs with that phlegmy sound. As soon as I heard that - I knew we were in for a long day and a VERY long night.. His body is definitely trying to fight this sucker, He's been sweating like crazy and I've been keeping fluids in him and he's been doing good in that department.
I did call the pediatrician this morning, being a first time Mom, I wasn't sure what I could give him because I heard that cough medicine etc. was banned to give to infants. Well come to find out you can give your infant cough medicine but don't O.D. him on it. Follow the directions!!
So he's been on Triaminic, every 4-6 hours. I tried to go for the 6 hour marks but as the day went on it went to the 5 hour and then to the 4 1/2 hour mark. He's been slowly getting worse, and I'm sure this is normal. As they say, it always gets worse before it gets better. Right now he is sleeping and I had John prop his mattress up with a rolled towel so he isn't flat on his back. I noticed when he took his naps- laying flat caused him to cough and cough and make him wake up. Which was fine, it just meant I got to snuggle with him more.. :) So I hope by being elevated some will help.
I have a patch thermometer on him right now so I can check his temp through out the night with out waking him. I want to try and stay away from the E.R./Urgent care as much as possible - because being at home where it's controlled who comes and who goes. It is not at the hospital and its full of germs and more sick kids.. So... I'm hoping, a lot of lovin, snugglin and medicine will kick this cough/cold in the butt and we can skip the whole hospital thing.. :) I will say I'm kinda on edge- Right now is RSV season. RSV is not good and I do not want my little boy in the hospital at such a young age.. I'm sure he will be fine. I guess its just the parnioa coming out..
that's my Saturday for ya.!! :0) Wish T some luck!! i will post pics later.. (Yep I took pics of my baby being sick) - but for now I need to get some rest - as I know it is going to be a long night..

Engagement Shoot 01/18/2009

HA!!! Long over due here.. I laugh at the fact that I even consider them engagement pics.. I've been engaged for 2 1/2 years!! YEP 2 1/2 YEARS!!! Ridiculous!! We had some bumps in the road and one of them lead to our baby boy Tristan!! So here we are 2 months away from walking down that aisle and changing my last name!! Marrying the man I love and fall in love with more and more everyday!!

John and I met up with our Photographers - Shelly and Brandon Ivy with Ivy Studios at Mesa Center for the Arts.. Great place I must add.. Very interesting art, colorful pieces, and just beautiful..
Although I think - many people getting married had the same idea as us.. to go shoot there.. I think there was like 3 other couples and then just some random girl getting pictures.. All in all, John and I had a good time. Then we went to go find the Graffiti wall, which we couldn't find - so we just stopped behind some building on Main St. and Shelly and Brandon got some cool pics of us and John trying to be tough with this Massive American Bulldog I think.. and there was this big "PINK" chair!! Oh yea.. I had to get some pictures done in that chair and Shelly did just that!!!
I don't think I stopped laughing the entire time. Until I was told to do serious faces, even then I would start laughing!! John and I had a good time.. Thanks - Shelly and Brandon.. I love all the pictures.. Now I can't wait to see you at the wedding!!

Wedding Checks!!

YEP YEP!! I have three checks off my list!! YEA!! I am so happy about this!
So today John, Tristan and myself headed out to get some wedding stuff done and checked off my list. We went and registered at Target and Bed, bath and Beyond! Hope fully we get alot of the things we asked for, it would definitely be nice to have some of our OWN things, Not things we had left over from when, we were with our ex's etc.. So we will see.
We also went and got our rings, I love Johns ring. Its very unique and I know he really likes it - which means he will wear it! I love the ring I chose as well. With the fact that my E-ring was made by John - there was no matching wedding band to go with it, and I didn't want a new set. So i picked a band that matches as close as possible. I love it. We are going to upgrade my diamond soon but I could really care less. So that's marked off the list. We also went and got John's Tux picked along with all the Gm's picked. Thank goodness. I feel like those 3 check marks on my list were just lingering and never going to get done. Well today - it was finally done!
Other than that - Our Sat. was busy!! We were supposed to go watch the Cardinals play, I told John just to go and Me and T stayed home to watch from the comfort of my couch!! :0)
The Cardinals kicked some ass tonight I hope they can keep it up!! GO CARDINALS!

Wedding stuff....

So I have knocked out a few more things on my ever growing wedding to do list!! People it's hard having a little one and then try planning a Wedding.. ICK!! dont recommend it.. mmm kay..
Anyway - I went to Ikea last week with John - I took my handy dandy list of everything I needed for my centerpieces, Why I chose to do my centerpieces myself , is beyond me? but whatever so I head in and we go look around see what neat things they have.. nothing of interest to me so on to the important things. I find all the things I will need and pile them in the cart and off we go.. BUT of course we found more things for our house which was nice.. We finally got our mirror for the master bathroom that was remodeled oh about a year ago.. haha Okay getting sidetracked here.. So we check out.. Total bill $215 bucks (STINGS On MY ASS) just for centerpieces!!! UGH!! So now I have to put everything together,, YAY for me..
The girls are to have already gone and put there measurements in and paid for there dresses or at least I hope so.. One of my friends is being a "super" flake so I'm starting to get a little worried, but I dont want to turn into bridezilla and nag her so.. we will see what she does..
I got my Candy bags for the candy buffet.. Super cute.. They are black bags with Silver writing..
Oh and I added one more flower girl.. Follow me here.. Its my brother n' laws brother's daughter, Madison.. so she will be the little flower girl along with my God daughter Melayna.. Need to still order there dresses.. (eeeep) Oh and We FINALIZED the caterer - HA Finally right.. So glad thats done.. YA!!
So mmm what else.. I'm still on my diet .. Trying to shed all this weight before I even dare step foot into my beautiful dress. Hopefully this will be soon. I'm down about 10lbs give or take some.. I've been training with my bro so he's building muscle - anyhooters so thats the dish on wedding stuff..
I have my freind working on the invites.. Cant wait to see how those are going to come out.. I'm sure very pretty as she always does an awesome job of designing.. :0) So basically, I'm down to all the DETAILS of this shin dig and hopefully it will all start falling into place... I hope my wedding night turns out the way I invision it.. We shall See.. :)

Holy first Wedding nightmare!

Omg - So Sat. we had very busy day - we had a gradution to go to - which by the way made my itch to get my ass back to school even more so.. so we had that and I saw so many of my old friends.. Small world.. Anyway - we got done with that and then had a surprise party to go to at 5 - I didnt have time to dress up like I had hoped because by the time I had gotten home it was 4:15 and the baby needed to eat then we needed to be there by 5:30 so we wouldn't miss the surprise - so we go to the party and we didn't leave until about 8:30ish.. I got home put Baby T down. He was exhausted so was I!! So I headed off to bed, Man oh man being in bed never felt so good.. haha..
So I dont know how my dream started out but somehow I was at my Venue Villa Siena I could see everything, the fountain the fireplace everything, but there was a problem two of my bridesmaids bailed on me the day of, there were no people in there seats except like 5 maybe. My Dress was the wrong dress and John was not John!! So I began crying and shouting that this was all wrong.. We have the dates all wrong!! I couldnt figure out what was going on. Then it shifted to an outside beach wedding and I was actally getting ready to walk to John but some "Bitch" got in front of me in MY wedding dress and was walking to John too!!! So I was like in a race to get to the altar before she did.. UGH!! it was a mess. Ya well she ended up getting there before me and I just fell to the floor crying.. and from out of no where.. My friend Kim showed up and said its okay honey - your just having a dream.. I'm like no I'm not this is really happening!!! As I was sitting there crying I could see John marrying this other chic and of course I couldnt see her stupid face!! annddddd then I woke up!!! WTF I wanted to beat this chick up.. What kinda effed up dream was that all about..
That was my first dream wedding related- since being engaged. umm 2 years ago,, haha..
Why can't wedding dreams be nice and peaceful?? so ridicuolous!!
So that was my dream - it was horrible.. and I hope I dont have another one like that ever again!!

On the wedding front.. and etc...

I've been making some progress. Eh well somewhat anyway --.. We figured out when my Bridal shower and bach party will be. the girls are all on the same page as far as ordering there dresses. I met up with one of the caterers, Great food, the other one pissed me off and stood me up basically!! So much for your "preferred vendor list" Villa Siena!! ugh..
I'm meeting with Kimmy D on Thursday to go over my invites and all the other paper products.. I sent out my STD's.. We signed the contract for the officiant and now I have Homework?!! Yep "wedding homework> Wonderful..

Theres still so much to be done.. and well 5 months to do it.. but I have my handy dandy calander I made and as long as I stick to the goals- I should be okay..

Oh and I forgot to update about my weightloss - which I was supposed to post about on Sept 24.. As of then I had lost 6 1/2 pounds.. not bad but I was hoping for more.. My goal is to lose 10 lbs by the 24th of Oct.. so that would make a total of 16lbs lost.. (I hope I can do it)!!
oh and I start working out at my brothers gym on Monday.. He surprisingly is going to train my ass!! I'm so excited because he will show no mercy and thats sooo what I need right now.. So here's to being a Buff bride and Momma!! Here I come.. Weeee......

Tristan will be 3 months old on Oct 9th.. He doesnt even seem to be 3 months, he acts so much older than that.. He seriously amazes me everyday! I love it..

Oh and I got new tattoo.. well no I "finally" finished my tattoo on my foot.. and it hurt like nobodys business.. :( . I will post pics later my camera battery is charging..

the biggest one of all LOSING THIS BABY WEIGHT that I have gained!! umm yea abt 40 lbs needs to go bye - bye so I can look smokin hot in my dress.. Oh shit!! time is ticking Jenni get with it!!
narrow down our guest list.. We are at 150 we need to be at 100!!! YIKES

uhh what else -- I'm sure I'm missing the rest of the list and I'm sure there's about 50 more things that need to be added.. :(
