Tristan's 3rd Birthday

MAN, I can not believe my baby boy is THREE!!!  Time goes by quickly, and I know we all say this, but truly it does!! Soon I will be writing about having a 4 year old!!  Oiii

So T is Three, and we had a huge birthday party for him, this year I did Monster Trucks, Grave Digger, Spike, Maximum Destruction ( ya i know most of all the Monster Trucks).  I had a cake made that has the screen print of his face on it, balloons with maximum destruction on it, table cloths and paper plates to match. ALL out!!  We also got a a huge bouncy water slide/bounce house.  literally took up our entire back yard!!

Lets start off by saying the day started off great, the party didn't start till 3,  which was perfect because it allowed me time to get everything ready and still have some downtime, or so I thought!!

I left to go get the balloons, and his cake. While picking up his cake, I get a phone call from the hubs saying, "you need to get home, now",  Umm WTF  why?  "the A/C just went out"-  Que my jaw drop and my heart rate skyrocket!!  YOU HAVE TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!!  Of all days!! OF ALL DAYS!!
Yep, at noon our A/C decided that it was going to stop working on a 110 + day! While we are hosting our three year olds birthday, while I'm 9 months pregnant!!
 AWESOME!!!!!

Luckily we have great friends, who called there great Friends and got over to our house and fixed the damn A/C -but never the less I texted everyone who I could to tell them to arrive late due to the A/C and luckily everyone listened and didn't show until about 4-430- It was still hotter than a mother effer in my house, 87 degrees to be exact, we had our big blower fans going which helped a little, but still HOT!  The kids had a blast and barely noticed considering they were outside getting wet and sliding and well having fun!!  I on the other hand, was stressed, barely had a shower before people started arriving.. It was a MESS in the beginning. but in the END, his birthday was Awesome, He has tons of people that love him to death and love to spoil him just as much as I do.    Now for the pictures after the fiasco, I luckily have great friends who were taking pics for me, while I was running around. (so should have not been like this) but they took a ton of pics for me. Thank goodness!!

Tristan received so many presents, it took us splitting it up to get them all open.

1 Month Shy of 3 Years Old

How and when did my Baby turn into a walking, talking, potty training, puts on his own shoes, tells us left and right when driving, knows all of his body parts even the girl parts that one day caught me off guard, goes out back by himself and entertains himself toddler (big boy)??  It just amazes me everyday, how fast T is growing and how much he is learning.  He has a stubborn will about him, or maybe that's just the terrible 3's rearing its ugly head. Either way, he's mine and I love him more and more with each passing day. Even when I want to pull out my hair, because I have lost every once of patience  one person can muster.
July 9th is fast approaching and I catch myself wondering what the 3's have in store for us. For one they have a baby brother that is about to rock his 3 year old world. I know he's going to be a great brother, but I do have those guilty feelings about mine and John's attention not being on T solely. I feel bad, that he will have to learn to share that, because for 3 WHOLE years he has had nothing but our undivided attention.  I know, I know, we all had to go through  it and we all survived. Most if not all of us have siblings who had to share our parents and we all turned out fine, most of us!  I would be lieing if I said I didn't feel guilty, because I DO!!      On the flip side of that guiltiness, I'm super excited to see T embrace his brother, because deep down I know he is going to be so awesome with him. He loves babies and being around them, loves to "pet" them on their heads and has already been making progress at home referring to M's room as his brothers, and he names off everything that is M's and then everything that is T's and when I ask if he will share his things, he slowly looks up and says, "No"!!  HA  okay then.. well at least we got that handled!
For the time being I have one more month to bask in the 2's and reminisce on what an exciting year it has been for us and for him!!!  

Its been boring lately....

I apologize now for the boringness that has taken over my blog..  I'm really not this boring in real life.

Lots of things have been going on, that have thrown me for a loop, and trying to get back into this "new" normal is a little weird.  I find it so weird that after T goes down for the night, I'm no longer rushing to the kitchen table to study or the computer to type up reports. I find myself sitting my pregnant ass on the couch and flipping through channels. SO WEIRD!!!   Its nice don't get me wrong. The first few nights I was like this just isn't right, but as I get used to it, I'm liking it.  I know I know, ENJOY IT NOW.. While I can.. =)

This month and next month and well every month after that is going to be crazy busy with events.

This month is my baby shower on the 25th, we are also going up north June 11th, June 18th is my Maternity pics which I'm semi looking forward to, my whale of an ass being photographed FUN!!  Did I mention we have been potty training T?  Yea that's for another post..

Then July brings T's 3rd Birthday on the 9th, July 23rd I'm hosting my Bf's Baby Shower and the 30th is one of our close friends Twin Baby shower, in which my husband will be hosting a Diaper Party for the daddy to be.

August- Well that brings the baby, and hopefully he will make his appearance on the 9th preferably, if not maybe the 6th?  I don't know I just hope he doesn't take up residence to long after his due date.  Then, brings my sweet sweet Maternity Leave and I am beyond excited about!!   I'm off for about 8-9 weeks. I will be working from home a little bit, since our biz is family run and I'm the office manager, i am the only one who knows how to do the payroll and all the taxes as well as sales/city taxes.  I don't mind though, because I can work from home and make a single trip in to drop off checks and check on things.

Planning Baby Showers and 3rd Birthdays.

This is what I have been up to besides finally finishing up the last of my Bio class, I took my final on Thursday and I AM OFFICIALLY DONE, with that class. HA!  I passed with a C a low C, but I passed and quite frankly that's all I care about at this point.  Next Class starts May 23rd and that's Chemistry, oiiii

But, I have been planning my BFF's Baby Shower and I can't wait. We are doing a Hot Pink and Lime Green Lady bug theme.

Once i get all the items I ordered in, I will post pics. I am doing a dessert buffet, Lemonade Stands (Pink Lemonade and I saw a recipe to make Italian Punch- which is Pink)
Mind you I am going to be 38 weeks pregnant by then, so this should be interesting. I have enlisted help from some of my great friends, One being a photog who is coming to do pics for the day.
I can't wait to see it all come together on her day!!

I am also in planning mode for T's 3rd Birthday(chokes on water)  Yay, I said 3, he's going to be 3!!  oiiii
Monster Trucks is the theme, and I don't think he would have it any other way. I ordered some cute stuff off a birthday website, A banner that has his photo in it as well as some centerpieces that were made with his picture in it.  This isn't what I ordered, but this will be the jist of the colors and the theme.

This year we decided to have it at our house, and I could quite possibly be crazy again, being that I will be 35 weeks prego, its summer time, its hot and we will have probably about 50 or so guests including kids running rampid. I digress, I am doing a water bouncy, slip n slide and a play pool for the kiddies,  a pinata and Cake.  I haven't decided on Subs or Hot dogs and Hamburgers yet. I guess this would depend on the hubs, if he feels like sweating like crazy over the barbecue.  

I love planning, I get a little overwhelmed at times, but I know both of these events will come together and I have great friends and family who will be there to help.  :winkwink:
